I was born and raised in Saskatoon. I am in my final year of studies in Civil Engineering at the UofS. I earned a BSc. in biochemistry from the UofS where I was particularly interested in human health issues. I enjoy travel and have traveled extensively throughout South America where I studied Spanish. I love to be active and list biking, skiing and soccer as some of my leisure-time activities.
Yoga is important for me as I feel it helps me maintain a healthy body and calm mind. I took my first yoga class in high school Phys. Ed. During university I took classes intermittently. A friend introduced me to Inner Peace Yoga Studio in 2011 and I began to develop a more steady yoga practice. Since then I have completely fallen in love with the practice of yoga and the positive effects it has on me physically and emotionally. Yoga has introduced me to many wonderful people and taught me much. To me a good yoga class consists of a nice balance of sweating, relaxation, thoughtfulness, good tunes, and perhaps a touch of humour. I?m excited to be teaching at Inner Peace as well as continuing to learn and grow in my personal practice.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat!
