I've always been a physical person, starting at the age of three when I took my first ballet class. Dancing for over 20 years taught me comfort and confidence in moving my body - something I never wanted to lose. During university, I tried all sorts of new classes, from ballroom to hiphop to self-defense and pilates.
Then, I found yoga and it stuck. Yoga calms my mind, makes me feel refreshed, and stretches out all those kinks that build up in my body throughout the day. I genuinely want to share my love of yoga with others, to help them calm their minds, to feel refreshed and work out their kinks. My approach to teaching is personal and friendly, and I want my students to leave the studio feeling more relaxed and open. I am certified Yin Yoga (30 hours training with Joe Barnett) and Hatha Yoga (200 hours training, Iyengar-based through Inner Peace Yoga).
