I moved to Saskatoon 6 years ago to attend university, and the city has since become home. Now, I am a structural engineer with an exceptional fiance, an independent dog, and a seemingly bright future. I attribute much of my success in life to yoga: improving myself, accepting what comes my way, and doing it all with a grateful heart.
My yoga journey began at Inner Peace, and it continued to flourish here. I began as a shy student, rooted in the back corner of the room, but the more classes that I attended and the more fascinating people that I met, the more I began to embrace yoga as a part of my life. I have participated in a 40-day sadhana at Inner Peace, and completed my 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training here as well.
To me, yoga is relaxing, centering, and above all, fun. It is physically challenging, yet mentally calming. It makes me feel and act like a more positive, open-minded person.
